Hey Baby...Let's Go To Vegas!!!

Justin had to go to Las Vegas for some work conventions for Century 21. I don't know how? But, he convinced me and the kids to come along and make a little vacation out of it. To be honest I was kind of dreading it. It's been forever since I had been to Vegas and all I remember from that trip was walking, heat, miserable, smoke, and more walking!!! Not exactly somewhere to take two little boys and a 4 month old that is still nursing and WILL NOT take a bottle! Even just the thought of packing for all of us sounded a little overwhelming. Well, we went anyways.
We stopped in St. George to visit Grandma and Grandpa Davis at their new house. We had a lot of fun swimming in the huge pool. Lucy loved her first swim! I could have stayed in St. George all week.

We left for Vegas on Sunday. The ride from St. George is only a little over an hour so that wasn't bad. I had a mini anxiety attack as we rolled into Vegas, seeing the big Chippendale's billboard and watching Griffen's face when he saw it! Thinking about all the junk there is in Vegas. I was thinking what have I done? I have to admit that we had much more fun than I ever thought we would.
We went to M&M world and spent way to much on M&M's. We saw a fun little 3D movie there. At the Coke factory we tasted Coke products from all around the world. Way fun! If you ask the boy's they'll say don't drink #7 off the 2nd tray...YUCK!!

We went to the Botanical Garden, all the huge butterfly's made Griffen's day. We went to the MGM Grand and saw the Lions...and then to eat at the Rainforest Cafe. The boys loved it. Griffen said, "Oh momma, thanks for bringing us here!"

Justin got us tickets to go to a magic show (way fun!) The boys are still thinking about it. We watched the pirates fight at the Treasure Island, the boys thought it was cool. Although it is a bit more Vegas like than I remember! I think one of our favorite things was the Dolphin and Tiger Habitat at the Mirage! We were able to get so close to the Dolphins, We stayed there for quite a while enjoying the sun! I loved watching the boys be so excited by the dolphins.

We had lots of downtime in our Hotel room. One morning me and the boys ordered room service for breakfast. Pancakes and blueberries! When the room service lady came and she brought the food in she thought I was the Nanny! She didn't believe all three kids were mine. She loved that Cooper sat right down at the table and put his napkin on his lap!

Having so Cheesecake Factory cheesecake in bed...YUM!!!

You know what? We had fun in Vegas!!! It turned out to be lot's of fun. Yes, there is a lot you don't want your kids to see in Vegas. But I was surprised by how much we were able to do. Good memories, good food, good kids, good to be home!!!
