Visiting Grandpa Vance

Everyone thinks that their Grandpa is the best, but I know it!!! This is Grandpa Vance! I have so many fond memories of him when I was a little girl. Cooper and Griffen used to ask, "remember that Grandpa that took us on the little scooter?" Yes, I remember. Grandpa zoomed them up and down the street so fast that I was worried they were all going to fall off. They all made it with nothing on their face but a smile! I'm not sure who loved that day more, Coop and Griffy or Grandpa. I told the boys the story of the times he used to take me, Aunt Jeni and Uncle Jordon to the Island Market. He would give us the little brown candy bag and say, "now fill it up!" We were in heaven! We took him our bags (which we thought were full) he said something like, "You can still fit more in there" or "no, I said fill it up:)." So back we would go and with Grandpa's help we would fill our bags up right. Even now, when I pass Island Market, I think of Grandpa Vance. Now that I have told the boys my story...they do too! "Momma, when do we get to go to Island Market and fill up a little brown bag with candy as full as we can get it?" Lol, so sweet!
