Cooper 9th Birthday Party!!!

Somehow when they placed my first baby in my arms on December 26, 2002 I didn't think this day would come so soon. He was a little bitty thing and seemed much smaller than 6lbs 15oz. My baby boy is NINE years old! He has made my life so much better in so many ways. He and I have made it through so much together...many sleepless nights pacing the floor with the water in the faucet or the vacuum and him screaming at the top of his lungs! Stinky diapers, bottles, A blessing, nursery, 4 moves, 3 different schools, 2 surgeries, lots of baseball and soccer games, fun summers, a baptism, Primary, scouts, endless homework, lots and lots of books, toys, trips to the Doctor, vacations, some great times and some not so great times! But all along the way I have enjoyed watching Cooper grow and learn and become the awesome boy he is today. I am so proud of him! I love him so very much!

At NINE Years Old:
Cooper is in the 3rd Grade
He is a social butterfly and has many great friends
Loves Baseball
Still roots for the Bronco's
His favorite food is: cheeseburgers, spaghetti and CANDY!!!
His favorite subject is: RECESS (What third grade boy doesn't feel this way?)
He also enjoys reading...right now he is reading the third Diary Of A Wimpy Kid
He enjoys Science
Coop loves Nerf guns...I would guess he has over 30! (Yes I am so tired of all the blasted bullets)
The BEST and SWEETEST brother to Griffen and Lucy
He is currently working on his Pinewood Derby Car
His favorite restaurant is Panda Express, Orange Chicken
He has a pet goldfish that I swear is the oldest goldfish ever (# of time he's cleaned the tank? 0!!!)
His favorite color is still green, also black
He reminds me of Curious George
He is so funny and can make me laugh even when I am mad at him
His nickname at school is "Mini Man"
I could go on and on...but I'll stop there.

We Love You Coop! Happy Nine Years to you buddy!

This year for his party he invited all his friends to play flag football in the snow, it was a big hit! They had a blast! For half time we had hot chocolate and then went inside for cake and ice cream. I am really proud of Cooper and the great choices he has made in choosing good friends. I couldn't believe how polite they all were!

What a fun birthday party idea. I bet the boys loved it. Cute cake, I'm sure he was happy to see the Bronco's win on Sunday.

Natalie,
Where are you guys living now? Do your kids still go to Hillcrest? I haven't seen them in a while. Hope all is well. Your kids are adorable!
