My little Lady is ONE!!! I can hardly believe it, I still remember the day she was born and they placed her up onto my chest like it was yesterday. She is such a blessing in my life, all three of my kids are. She was such a tiny little peanut when she was born...just 5lbs 15oz but she was completely healthy and beautiful. Now she is 19lbs 9oz. She is quite a fun gal these days. She is learning like a sponge, everyday she is learning new words and funny little ways to communicate. I absolutely love all of her funny little faces, she is so expressive!
Lucy is a little smartie pants...(I know every mother thinks her child is brilliant, but really...she is!!! Lol)
She can say:
Elmo
Kitty
Vroom vroom (car)
No No
Where are you?
Jordon
William
Coop
Doggy
Kitty
Momma
Dadda
Grandpa
Crash
All done!
toys
ball
balloon
ABC
bubble
hello
Mum Mum (the most amazing baby cookies EVER!)
banana
duck
quack quack
And many more that I am either missing or not understanding:) She on the other had understands everything that I say. She is walking 4 steps or so at a time. She can go up and down the stairs. I love it when we say to her, "Shake your booty Lucy!" She shakes it like there is no tomorrow. One of her favorite games right now is chase, she grabs my hand and has me help her walk. The she runs screaming past Grandma or Grandpa, cooper or Griffen until they chase her...I love to hear her scream and laugh! It's a crack up!
Lucy love the kitty's, feeding the horses, taking baths, giving hugs (she puts her head on your shoulder and say's ohhh!) She loves to dance and points to the radio when ever we pass it. When she is tired she says "Where are you?" to her little blankie that she is so attached to these days. She loves to get Cooper and Griffen and is very protective of them. One day we were wrestling for fun and it made her so upset...it was both cute and sad at the same time. Her favorite toy right now is a funny green balloon that is still floating since her cousin, Ellie's birthday on October 18, I think that old balloon is still hanging on because it knows how much Lucy loves it! She loves the phone, ummm...confession! She called 911 today, oops! I love how she holds it up to her ear and say's "hello" in her cute little voice. Another thing that she loves that is so funny is a thing that my mom has that is meant to hold paper plates and cups and plastic utensils. It is just the right height for her to push it around, she looks so funny pushing it around. She sure loves it though!
Little Lucy enjoys her food, some of her favorites are. Mum Mum's, I love how she asks for them by name. She loves banana's, kiwi, potatoes, oatmeal, mac and cheese cheerios, cooked ham, cheerios, pasta, vienna sausages and peaches! Things that we are still working on are avocado's, cheese!
Lucy loves to be played with and she loves all the attention she can get :) We love to give her both! She is just so much fun and so full of it! We are so lucky to have her as part of our family and she is lucky to have two proud brothers that love her so much! When we first brought Lucy home from the hospital, the boys would come in straight from school and the first thing they would ask or want to see was Lucy. I remember thinking that I better enjoy this sweet little thing because it probably wouldn't last, but you know what? They still come home and go right to Lucy and I LOVE IT!!!
Happy Birthday my little love...One down, many more to go! I love you to the moon and back Lucy Lu:)

There's no way that she's one already!! Wow. What an absolute beauty. And she really is brilliant, 'cause she says more words than Hazel does. And her 10 month pictures are to die for!
